Intro — We were delighted when Beyoncé’s team approached us to work on the launch of her
latest venture. An American Rye whisky in collaboration with Moët Hennessy. As with everything
Beyoncé does, this was a carefully considered, deeply personal, and meticulously crafted
collaboration, a passion project close to her heart with family links to her past. SirDavis is
more than just whiskey; its launch was a 5-year journey reconnecting Beyoncé to her family
heritage and honoring her great grandfather - Texas moonshiner Davis Hogue - after
whom the Rye is named.

Brief — General Idea Agency chose Shrimpton as technology partner and enlisted us to craft and develop the SirDavis digital consumer experience, building an enterprise level Drupal CMS and integrating Reserve Bar’s API to enable online sales of Sir Davis Whisky across the United States.
Solution — For 12 months we worked closely with multi-functional teams & partners including Reserve Bar, the number one online beverage sales leader in rare, luxury, and ultra-premium spirits, - we leveraged developer friendly API's, whilst incorporating Moet Hennessy’s enterprise level infrastructure to
develop a Drupal 10 CMS that powers millions of requests per week. The result is both educational and experiential.
